Steam’s Early Access Program has many great games on offer in beta, but, one of the most popular ones, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has passed 4 million pre-release purchases, totalling sales of around 150 million Australian Dollars.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is developed by South Korean company Bluehole, founded in 2007. Bluehole describes their game as

“a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback. Starting with nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the lone survivor.”

Not only has the game sold remarkably well for an early access title, it has been received very well by gamers with the title having a ‘Mostly Positive’ rating on Steam with over 50,000 positive reviews.
